Description:
The objectives of this workshop are for each participant to:
- Be able to describe the basic principle and clinical reasoning behind neurological, visceral and fascial manipulation for patients with sequelae of concussion.
- Identify how specific manual therapy can improve treatment outcomes for concussion-related injuries and symptoms (such as headaches, neck dysfunction, memory loss, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and sleep disturbances).
- Palpate and identify deeper fascial restrictions in the body's joint, diaphragmatic, visceral, neural, and vascular systems as they relate to clinical tests and treatments.
- Understand the connections between organs, emotions, trauma, and pain in relation to concussion rehabilitation.

The course is taught in English.
Prerequisite:
Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 (VM1) AND Listening Techniques 1; An Integrative Approach to Evaluation (LT1).
Although not required, Neuromeningeal Manipulation; An Integrative Approach to Trauma (NM1) is recommended.
Experience with CranioSacral Therapy is also recommended.
