Debit cards, credit cards and payment
You can pay using the following debit cards and credit cards:
- Dankort
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Maestro
- JCB
- American Express
When the enrolment procedure has been finalized, you will receive an email with an order confirmation.
For all forms of payment applies that all information is transmitted encrypted and we receive no information about your account, credit card information or the like. We only receive a notification specifying that the booking has been paid.
There are no fees when using a personal credit or debit card issued in the EU.
When using a credit or debit card issued outside the EU or a corporate card, a fee from the card issuer will be added to the payment.
When paying with an international bank transfer, the participant is expected to cover all bank fees. This includes a fee of DKK 50,-, which is charged by the Danish bank.
Privacy
Personal information that you provide to Kåre Nielsen in connection with the enrolment will not be disclosed to third parties. All information you have submitted is kept secure in an electronic format and is accessible only to trusted employees at Kåre Nielsen.
In connection with the electronic payment, no account or credit card information is saved by Kåre Nielsen. Credit and debit card information is handled exclusively in our payment service supplier system.
Limitation of liability
All information provided is subject to typing errors. We reserve the right to cancel your enrollment and refund your payment in case a course is fully booked.
Cancellation of the courses by Kåre Nielsen
We reserve the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment, illness or other incidents outside our control. In the event of cancellation, it will be possible to get a refund. In case of changes, we will contact those enrolled by either phone or e-mail. We can’t guarantee that canceled courses will be offered at a later date. The course fee will only be refunded by Kåre Nielsen in case of cancellation or transfer of the course.
Cancellation of participation by the participant
According to an exception in Danish Consumer Contracts (Forbrugeraftaleloven), there is no right of withdrawal/cancellation for recreational activities, if it in the Agreement has been specified either the day or a specific period the activity is to take place – eg. booking of cinema tickets, courses, etc. This means that the purchase of a course is binding, and that neither the deposit nor the course fee can be refunded if you become ill or are unable to attend.

At Kåre Nielsen we have chosen to ease the rules regarding cancellation to the following:
If we receive your cancellation 2 calendar months or more prior to the first day of the course, your deposit is forfeited, but you are able to have the remainder of your payment refunded.
If your cancellation is received with less than 2 calendar months’ notice, your full payment is forfeited.
Specially for courses with Jean-Pierre Barral or Alain Croibier as lecturer:
If we receive your cancellation 3 calendar months or more prior to the first day of the course, your deposit is forfeited, but you are able to have the remainder of your payment refunded.
If your cancellation is received with less than 3 calendar months’ notice, your full payment is forfeited.
Specially for the course/ski trip”Combined VM1 and VM2 course + skiing” on January 20 – 27 2024:
The course/ski trip is offered in collaboration with Happy Skiing, who is the travel provider and member of The Travel Guarantee Fund – member number 1304
If we receive your cancellation on or before August 27th 2023 your deposit is forfeited, but you are able to have the remainder of your payment refunded.
If your cancellation is received after August 27th 2023 your full payment is forfeited.
