Description of NMAA & MASP – Danish version:

The treatment method “New Manual Articular Approach” (NMAA) was developed by the world-renowned osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral in collaboration with the French osteopath Alain Croibier. The NMAA courses are based on techniques personally developed by Jean-Pierre Barral, combined with Alain Croibier’s scientific information.

NMAA is a comprehensive and detailed approach to treating joints. NMAA integrates all aspects of a joint including nerves, blood vessels, bones, joint capsules and ligaments as well as the visceral and emotional connections. NMAA delves into joints like never before without manipulating or mobilizing the joint itself, but rather the structures that have an impact on the joint and how to gently manually relieve the joint from this. In addition, NMAA integrates the structures of neighboring joints, while simultaneously looking at the direct and indirect relationships within the region or the entire body.
The connection between organs and joints is not widely known. NMAA shows how connected they are and that the function of a joint can often be helped by the visceral-somatic connection.
The use of gentle NMAA techniques stimulates the body's ability to heal and restore optimal health.

The NMAA course series consists of 4 courses; the 3 basic courses: MASP (Spine and Pelvis), MALE (Lower Extremity) and MAUE (Upper Extremity) and 1 advanced course MAAAJ (Advanced Joints).

The MASP course is focused on the spine and pelvis's conditions for good function.
